Our association excursions have almost become a firm tradition. This year’s last trip took us once again to Kamsdorf.
Warmly welcomed by Werner and Henry, 27 participants received their helmet, a mine light and in the best mood we went on foot into the underground area. After a relaxed introduction about the history of the mine, we divided into 2 groups and with the respective guide, our tour started.
With questions, information, geologic history and various collection of crystals, we set off in a great mood. After 4 hours of discovery and many new, partly unknown information we reached the daylight again.
Our thanks and an enthusiastic “Glückauf” to the two nice, technically great guides of a special kind, Werner and Henry.
Also part of the tradition, we ended the day again in a cozy round with coffee and cake and many conversations about the table, in the Café Meisterbäcker Scherf. The excursions for the coming year were also discussed.
