For the Italian delegation from Castelnovo ne’Monti, which who visited Kahla, this weekend was full of events.
Arriving on Thursday, every day was already filled with many program items.
One of the wishes they had, was to visit the Kahla town museum, which happened on the morning of October, 3rd.
Warmly welcomed by our association, we led them to the new exhibition on the “REIMAHG” history, which they really wanted to see. With a lot of time for explanations and information, we conveyed a vivid and understandable picture of our work, whereas especially in the human fates the guests were very interested.
On the basis of numerous personal original exhibits, we were able to illustrate the stories very clearly and emotionally.
Many questions were asked and Petra, the interpreter, did an excellent job in translating.
Afterwards we went to conversations and a very delicious coffee in the museum café. We would like to take this opportunity to thank Kathrin very much for her hospitality!
Before we said goodbye to each other later, we hand over two of our publications on the “REIMAHG” story to Emanuele Ferrari, the Vice-Mayor of Castelnovo.
Together we will develop an Italian translation and print of this book in 2022. This, like other jointly planned projects, demonstrates the value and mutual will of cooperation with an international character.
At the Kahlaer Markt, they finally ate a hot Thuringian bratwurst before they made their way home, to which Mayor Jan Schönfeld wished the guests all the best.
See you soon in Castelnovo ne’ Monti in 2022!
